Flinke Namen documentary
25.01.2010

Recently I’m involved with 4 other people on a project to make a short documentary about Flinke Namen. Last friday we made our first shots at Burgerweeshuis in Deventer. We gonna film this documentary with slr cameras. The vibe was really good and we made some great shots. I also made some pictures backstage and from the performance of Dio. I made a new set on my Flickr for all the photos of this project here on the click. This project probably will take a few months but stay tuned.
Filling pieces
11.12.2009

When I came home last night from Arnhem (where I spinnend on the new cdj-2000 yay) I found some awesome shit on the internet. I was just checking the blogspot “what people wear these days” and what? The dude (Amsterdam) has his own sneaker line! And they’re well designed too, he uses some great materials like leather and suede. He’s says, the sneakers are a “filling piece” between street and haute couture. His blog became a sort of dairy for every progress of the sneaker and he’s all keeping it very transparent like you can see on the pictures above. I’m very curious about the next-level shit in 2010. Because of the transparency I see some opportunities (in my opinion) like a dope shoebox, photography and more who will help this to a real brand. But eh, I think I going to email him to get my shoes. There’s only one problem, what color? Red or black? Or the sand ones?
The Streethearts
10.11.2009

I really love this beautiful blog Streethearts, designed by HEYDAYS. The Streethearts are two photographers, Andreas Schjønhaug and Eirik Slyngstad. So no crappy pictures but wonderful shots from well dressed people from the street. A really nice thing is that you can search people from the street by brand or what kind of clothes they are wearing. Most of the pictures were made in Oslo because that’s where they live, is everyone in Oslo so well dressed? So fashion geeks check out this blog. Also watch Streethearts as HEYDAYS project in their portfolio.
Wonderwall
17.10.2009

While shopping in Berlin I found this book in the A.P.C. store. I’d knew about Wonderwall but never blogged about them. Anyway, they make beautiful interiors for the most coolest clients. Their website is also very dope (for the nerds, made by tha ltd.). The load takes a little bit but when it’s done you see a big “wonderwall” for all the projects. When you click on a project you can read the details and view it fullscreen.
As last, here some shops I visit in Berlin. A.P.C., Acne Studio, DC 4, AM1, AM2 and AM3 all really nice shops! Most of the shops where found on the Berlin Unlike website recommend by @marcvermeeren. Really useful if you want to shop in Berlin!
IAM1 journey by Nalden
10.10.2009
The IAM1 journey made in July is a cool journey leaded by Nalden. Nalden is a professional blogger from The Netherlands. His website www.nalden.net is really cool and his blog style too. Above you see one of the movie made for the IAM1 journey. In this video he introduces himself. Check out the other video’s of the journey on the IAM1 journey Vimeo channel where he interviews people about the air max shoe and the history of it.
