IFFR — Better Become A Tiger Friend
04.02.2010
Last week I visited the International Film Festival Rotterdam. I’ve seen Eighteen, Trash Humpers, Shocking Blue, Au Vie Ranch and Win/Win. Win/Win was really the best movie i saw on the festival. At two movies there was a Q&A with the writter/director who both were very interesting.
This week was also a project week for school. So that’s what’s the movie is about. We had to make a one minute movie about the IFFR. We decided to promote the Tiger Friend membership. If you’re a tiger friend you can get some benefits, like early ticket access. We also add a pay-off, Better Become A Tiger Friend. The movie will explain why ;)
New Year’s Eve
03.01.2010
From this year new year’s eve I’ve made a 60 second short movie. This is also an assignment for school. I was free to choose a subject for the video so I named the short movie “New Year’s Eve”. The music I used comes from the Menahan Street Band, it’s the song The Traitor. So happy new year and enjoy my first Canon 500D short movie ;)
Kid Cudi — Pursuit of Happiness
09.12.2009
You all might know I’m a big fan of Kid Cudi, well here is the videoclip of Pursuit of Happiness. I think this song is the best one of his new album “Man On The Moon: End Of The Day”. Kid Cudi posted this video today on his blog and it was funny to see Drake already posted it yesterday. But if you see the videoclip you know why. For those who wanna know, the video is directed by Josh Hartnett and produced by Brody Baker.
Blakroc — Mos Def & Jim Jones
11.11.2009
I like this new video and sound from Mos Def and Jim Jones named Ain’t Nothing Like You (Hoochie Coo). This cool videoclip feels a bit like a jam session and I’m wondering if it’s shots with a Canon. The sound is a part of the Blakroc project where people like Jim Jones, Mos Def, Q-Tip, RZA, Raekwon, Ludacris, Pharoahe Monch, NOE, Nicole Wray, Billy Danze and Ol’ Dirty Bastard collaborated 11 days in studio and came out with 11 tracks! Looks like the album will be dropped on 27 November “Black Friday” the day after Thanksgiving. I’m very curious about this album project. I also found this video about the upcoming documentary about the Blakroc project.
The Carter documentary
09.11.2009
About a week this documentary will be released. I think a closer look on Lil Wayne will be very interested to see because this personality is one of a kind and many people got several opinions about him. Adam Bhala Lough filmed Lil Wayne in 2008 and his 80 minutes documentary was screened on Sundance Festival last January. So that are enough reasons to looking forward to this documentary.
Spheres Of Fury
31.10.2009
Another video shoot with an digital photo camera, this time they used the newest Canon 7D. I always like video’s with much sharpen, unsharp compositions. Funny concept of the video, making war with water guns. The video made by Tim Brown and Christopher Hewitt. They called the video “Spheres Of Fury” and it’s a beautiful filmed short video!
Kasimir Szekeres shoots VAgE gASTEN in HD
17.10.2009
Last month a friend, Kasimir Szekeres filmed and edited a full HD video for a club named Dirk Deluxe. It’s was the night that VAgE gASTEN rocked the place. The video is filmed with a Canon 5D mark II F1.4 and I must say, the result is really dope! Cool shots and the video is perfectly sharp.
I’ve did some test shots with my Canon 500D in Berlin. Don’t know if I gonna show the shots to the world but if it is you definitely gonna find it here!

This video made in Moscow makes me wanna go outside and film everything I see and turn it into slow-motion. Looks like a very thrilling movie now.
