Showroom opening Mood Over West

Last night was crazy! The GreenPaperBoys (check out the logo I designed) invited me to be on the opening of their new showroom at Overtoom, Amsterdam. Together with brands like GANT, MTV Mobile, Universal Music and more they’re showcasing their products. The store, people and vibe were all great and I must say, Absolut Vodka helped a lot on that one with giving away free drinks haha. So go all visit this showroom store in Amsterdam at Overtoom 62! Yesterday I finally picked up my 3D print. Last weeks I was designing a 3D character. Most of the time I spend as nerd behind my desk struggling with Maya (3D modeling). But things on a screen always looking different in real life so this is my very first 3D print test. The better look on it let’s me go to the next and last step, all the details. The first details are already on it, the “DS” on his varsity!
Poetry International Festival Rotterdam poster

For typography class we had the assignment to design a typographic poster for Poetry International Festival Rotterdam. I decided to use the famous quote of William Shakespeare “All The World’s A Stage”. It’s because many countries come together on this festival to share poetry. I painted the quote many times till I had the perfect letters, after that I used them on the poster. The poster is printed on 80gsm mint green paper.

Some first results of the GreenPapersBoys identity I did last month. It’s an embosser clip that creates the brand sign on the letter. We’re still busy with some last creations, especially with the showroom they’re working on in mind. The showroom will open doors next week at Overtoom, Amsterdam. Besides GreenPaperBoys (distribution), you’ll find other brands showcasing their stuff like Alfa Romeo, Universal Music and GANT.
Collecting footage

These days I try to collect footage while traveling, or in better words, while living life. It’s part of a current project about a visual short film with footage filmed by me and music produced by Ray Scheijgrond. It doesn’t have a deadline so you see it when it’s done.
